About the Founder
 

 

The Global Drums Gathering movement was founded in the Netherlands by Dennis Vessies in march 2021 after he had dreams and visions to create a wave effect with the vibrations of the shamanic drums around the globe with healing intensions for Mother Earth and ourselves. He never created a drum circle before and just made his own drum in the beginning of 2021 so it was all hands on deck for him to set this in motion. He has received alot of help from people who crossed his path of which a special thanks of support to the prophecy keeper of the 8000 Drums and shaman Thaayrohyadi & Greenlandic shaman Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq.

 

Dennis, born in the Netherlands on 10 july 1990 in a town called Heemskerk, is involved as a initiator and organiser of this movement.
Next to that he is aiming to support other people to get more in their heart and in touch with their own feelings and intuition in multiple ways such as, rapécito ceremonies, trauma release breathwork sessions combined with being present and holding space for the people who need it the most. He faced his own dark nights of the soul in 2023 which he overcame in very a positive way. Thanks to different self-improvement techniques, shamanic rituals and his epic solo journeys through Scandinavia and Mongolia where he rediscoverd himself.

 

Dennis believes in the phrase 'as above so below' and 'as within so without'. What ever happens in the inside will happen at the outside and vice versa. Where you focus your attention on will happen sooner or later, in the subconscious or conscious, that's why intentions are very important and they need to be clear and pure as possible. This is one of the main reasons Dennis chooses the drumming dates in certain alignments with celestial events which could be very powerful for us as human beings were we all can transform the old versions of us into a new and more complete version of ourselves.
