About the founder
 

 

The Global Drums Gathering movement was founded in the Netherlands by Dennis Vessies in march 2021 after he had dreams and visions to create a wave effect with the vibrations of the shamanic drums around the globe with healing intensions for Mother Earth and ourselves. He never created a drum circle before and just made his own drum in the beginning of 2021 so it was all hands on deck for him to set this in motion. He has received alot of help from people who crossed his path of which a special thanks of support to the prophecy keeper of the 8000 Drums and shaman Thaayrohyadi & Greenlandic shaman Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq.

 

Dennis was born in the Netherlands on 10 july 1990 in a town called Heemskerk. He is involved as a projector and organiser of this movement and he is currently studying to become a breathwork facilitator so he can guide individuals and groups for trauma release and inner child activation. He is aiming to support other people to get more in their heart and in touch with their own feelings in multiple ways. Dennis himself faced his own dark nights of the soul in 2023 (the year he did not organise a drum circle) which he overcome in very a positive way. Thanks to many self-improvement techniques, breathwork sessions, powerful sacred heart medicine ceremonies, sweat lodges, shamanic rituals, drumming and his epic solo journeys through Scandinavia and Mongolia where he rediscoverd himself.

 

Dennis believes in the phrase 'as above so below' and 'as within so without'. What ever happens in the inside will happen at the outside and vice versa. Where you focus your attention on will happen sooner or later, in the subconscious or conscious, that's why intentions are very important and they need to be clear, pure and loving as possible. This is one of the main reasons Dennis picks the drumming dates in certain alignments with celestial events which could be very powerful for us as human beings so we all can transform the old versions of us into a new and more complete version of ourselves.
